Isa C. brings nearly three decades of hands-on experience to her massage practice. Her journey began in the mid-1990s in Fukuoka, Japan, where she studied Shiatsu and Ashiatsu. Over the years, she has continued to expand her training and experience through study and travel around the world. She trained in Lomi Lomi with Nicole Brown in Hawaii (2004), and classes at Heartwood Institute in California. Her studies also include Thai massage in Thailand, Chi Nei Tsang with Master Mantak Chia, and coursework in craniosacral therapy through an Upledger Institute practitioner. Isa has completed training in prenatal massage, classic Swedish massage, and multiple modalities at the San Francisco School of Massage. She has studied PNF stretching, myofascial and medical massage, deep tissue, and energy work, and is currently enrolled in clinical deep tissue training at McKinnon Institute. Isa’s focus is on relieving pain effectively—often within a single session. She is passionate about energy medicine, prenatal and postnatal massage, and supporting families in restoring balance, health, and well-being through her work at Loosen Up Bodywork.
